Pahautanui Speedway

This was a track for speedway practice on the mud flats near Paramata, which is just north of Wellington. It was used during winter months by local  riders who had not travelled to UK.
Pahautanui  is now a bird sanctuary.

It was used in the late 1940’s and early 1950’s but possibly also in the 1970’s.
