Ashburton Speedway                    

Ashburton Speedway Assn is affiliated to the South Island Federation Of Independent Speedway Clubs Inc.
Track is a clay based oval track with a concrete wall and a concrete pole line.

All grades of Saloon Cars, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, Youth Mini Stocks and Open Wheelers race at Ashburton.

The track is situated on Seafield Road, Ashburton next to the Airport.

Race once a month on a Sunday afternoon all year round with the exception of Wheels Week in May of each year when they race both Saturday and Sunday as they host the NZ Mini Stock Title.

From Christchurch, proceed into Ashburton, go over the railway line on State Highway 1 and turn hard left then immediate turn right into Seafield Road.  Follow that all the way down until you come to the Airport.
From Timaru, proceed through Tinwald into Ashburton. Once over the bridge, turn right into South Street then left into Chalmers Ave. Follow that all the way through straight onto Bridge Street and take the fourth right onto Seafield Road.  Follow that all the way down until you come to the Airport.
